Worldwide Incentive Travel: A trip to sunny Croatia

Not only do we create unique and bespoke corporate trips and luxury leisure trips to Scotland. We also have experience of, and are able to take our clients and guests to other beautiful places on this planet. Croatia for example.

Croatia is one of the most ideal destinations to travel for UK based businesses, corporate groups, incentive trips or small luxury leisure groups due to it’s easy accessibility. Flights to Split depart from London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh and it takes under 3 hours to get there.

Split airport, which has been extended and modernised over the last couple of years, is only 30 minutes away from Split’s old town. A gorgeous place, full of history and the ideal city for a sightseeing trip.

For beach lovers we recommend visiting one of the beautiful little islands. One of our favourites is the luxurious island of Hvar. From Split Ferry Port it takes about 1 hour by ferry to reach Hvar Town. If you want to make the most out of your time in Croatia we recommend skipping the time traveling to Split Ferry Port, waiting for the ferry to depart and the 1 hours ferry journey and take a private charter speedboat to take you directly from Split Airport to Hvar Town. This way of travelling saves you time and and allows you to arrive in Hvar in style. Just the right way for an incentive trip or luxury leisure trip if you only want to stay for a few days.

Last year in late summer a new 5 star hotel opened in the heart of Hvar’s Old Town with stunning views over the harbour. Palace Elisabeth Hvar Heritage Hotel offers great hospitality, spacious rooms, a rooftop terrace, a private pool area, a private beach, a spa and a well stocked bar. Not to mention it’s Bloody Mary Bar in the main restaurant.

The ideal period for travelling to Croatia’s islands is between end of April and beginning of October as during low season most hotels, restaurants, bars and beach clubs are shut. We recommend avoiding the summer holidays though as rates are really high (particularly in August) and availabilities are low.

So, if you and your team are planning on doing an incentive trip with your team or executive trip with your business partners this year or next year – we highly recommend Croatia! A gorgeous country, affordable and not far from the UK.
